These Mushroom Grow Bag Coco, are used mostly for medicinal mushrooms.
Our grow bags are large 2kg bags (4.4lb). Containing coco coir, vermiculite & gypsum with a layer of oats to start grain spawn.
A perfect blend to produce lots of healthy mushrooms.
All of our grow kits are high pressure sterilised for 2.5 hours at 15 PSI. We then go on to pack them in front of a laminar flow hood, to ensure sterility.
After we fit a self healing injection port to the grow bag, for clean & easy inoculation and a 0.2 micron filter patch, for fresh air and gas exchange.
All of our growing bags fresh to order every time, by hand. To ensure you get the cleanest and freshest substrate.
We start by soaking the grains for 24 hours and rinse until clean. We then boil and simmer the oats for 20-25 mins, until they reach the perfect level of hydration. After air drying the outside of the oats, we then pack them into mushroom grow bags.
We add our custom made mushroom growing substrate, on top of the oats, and sterilise them under high pressure for 2.5 hours.
After allowing the bags to cool for 6-8 hours in front of the flow hood, we then seal them and do quality checks. Making sure everything is perfect before dispatching any orders.
Please allow 2-4 days for production on all substrates, grow bags and grains to ensure sterility of the product.
WE RECOMMEND INOCULATING YOUR GROW BAG AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER RECIEVING YOUR ORDER TO ENSURE HEALTHY GROWTH.
